=Lavos12 is a 14 year old poet from Michigan. Although often using a minimal amount of imagery he can also be quite complex, and definitely ahead of his years. Definitely a poet to keep an eye on for the future as his life experience and style develop.
His work, XXIV - The Raven was selected for its flow and imagery. Although he states he hadn't read Poe at the time of writing this piece it is indeed very reminiscent of Poe's The Raven. Lavos builds his own work and reproduces the sense of impending doom the same way, although his imagery is somewhat more complex than Poe's.
This piece is well worth a read, and is quite well constructed and well written. It captures the reader and brings them along like all good works should. Enjoy.
